228g (1 cup)  butter, room temperature

  • 115g (1/2 cup) sugar
  • 250g (2 cups) all purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons (1oz) milk

roll out to proper thickeness 1/4 or 1/8 inch between two sheets parchment paper

remove top piece of paper and cut out shapes leaving cookies on paper

Remove the extra dough and place on cool pan leaving cookies to cook on parchment

Bake @ 350 for about 10 minutes and rotate 1/2 way through
